Like father.... Like son

When we took the kids to dinner the other night I watched Render copying his Dad. Cory and Render changed positions of their hands about 5 times before I could get a picture.

Sibley Sews

During Halloween I was going to make Sibley a skirt for her Mary Ingles costume. Of course, she needed to make it herself. Next up was a purse and dress..... and on and on and on it goes.
So proud of this little lady.

The Dress.... she has worn it in the kitchen, she has worn it to school,
she has worn it to Nan's....
(In this picture she went from making dresses to making pies)

What do you do when your six year old turns into a professional seamstress over night.... you hit every remnant bin in town.
SUPPORT THE PASSION!

Now she's moving into pleats.
I pinned them and she's sewing them, we make a great team!
(I have NO idea what I'm doing but YouTube says this is acceptable)

Bye Bye Paci

The feelings you have when your last child says "I wanna give my paci to the baby".... Sadness, happiness, desperation that you've already had too much time pass that can't be returned, fear that tonight might be UGLY!! But here we go!

Headed to the mailbox while she tells the baby all about it on her "phone"

A new little donkey pal to ease the transition. (Yes I know she wrote on her face... She has a marking/drawing problem... Future graffiti artist... She even went to the principal's office for writing on the walls... Then told her KK "I have a big problem" haha!)

Oreos

Late night snacks... 7:30 pm
Oreos and Milk

Farmer Boys

Gaitz and his buddy, Jack.
Found these pictures from a few months back and they warmed my heart.
Look at these little men... 2 of the most fabulous kids I know.
Allowing them to use the Kubota and chains to drag limbs to their fort and the hatchet to chop makes me nervous but I also know this is what makes them so great!
