HERE IT IS..... The First Thanksgiving Play

Programs, stage, curtains, Mayflower, Tepees,

grandparents, Neal Lucas on the guitar, lights, turkey,

cello, mandolin, guns, curtain call,

singing, scriptures, dancing,   

AND SQUANTO!

Indian squaw

Baby on the Mayflower...

"We shall name him, Oceanus!"

Indian braves!

Turkey hunter

and the turkey being hunted

And Merritt's line at the end of the play says it all...

AND WE SHALL PRAISE HIS GLORIOUS NAME!

It was a Thanksgiving Feast indeed!

Potluck galore....and these pictures were

before most of the food arrived!

What a gracious and supportive group of

family and friends.

Dress rehearsal for "The First Thanksgiving"

These kids did it all, learned their lines, played instruments,

stage changes... the works! I actually think they enjoyed it!

Lots of giggles involved!
