2020 January roping

It was a COLD COLD night!

Cory's 41st Birthday

Cory's 41st birthday
Its been 3 whole years since I used this blog. I really miss my camera pictures and I really miss the documentation that happened here. Now that we have internet hopefully I'll be able to start this back up without so much effort!

Cory's birthday celebration!
Trail riding at AJ's, Brunswick stew with red velvet cake and homemade ice cream. Followed by a flashlight Easter egg hunt and jelly belly guessing game.
My favorite quotes from the day.
"Render, why are we on such a tangled trail?"
"Mom, I choose the road less traveled!"
"Thanks, Robert Frost."

Sibley asked when Gaitz got ahead, "Gaitz, Gaitz, wherefore art thou?"

The laughs....
Sibley trying to follow the boys jumping logs and Oz RAN up to it, stopped and gingerly stepped over.

Render following Gaitz going UNDER a down tree by sliding to the side of his horse, and ripped the saddle horn clean off his saddle!

Let the horses prance in the mud puddle!
Trying to swim them in the pond.

The beauty of riding among the lavender colored sweatpeas.

Sibley made all the star decorations!

Gaitz had started drawing Skunk, Cory's old cow, for his birthday. When co-op stopped for the quarantine so did the art lessons, but we'll get back to it and he'll finish!

quarantine 2020
I'm writing this on Easter morning, April 12th. As of today we have been on a quarantine from Coronavirus 19 for 30 days. Cory and I continue to go to work, but nothing else! I haven't been inside a store in 30 days. The last store I entered was tractor supply to buy vegetable plants and seed and I'm grateful I did! It has given Merritt something to tend. The kids have gone off the farm a couple times to see grandparents from there yard and the same for a few of our senior citizens from church. Yesterday, we took a trail ride, which was a much needed hiatus!

Ox Eyed Daisies and Buttercups!
