Spreading the feast

During our advent lesson the kids (especially Gaitz) were fascinated by the Dead Sea scrolls. So I spread the feast for tomorrow morning. Gaitz actually came down tonight and wanted to start cruising the books but it's bedtime! 

Most importantly, the story spurred a beautiful conversation... You don't have to be perfect for God to love you. Render even returned after brushing his teeth to say "Mom, sometimes it hard to know when something is right or wrong." .... It was a heartwarming end to the day. 

The kids are hoping the neighbors will come for a piano concert and christmas play... This is the manger, Mary and baby Jesus.
