Rocking this baby this morning under a blanket Cory's grandmother gave me. Sitting by the hearth with toasty feet and counting my blessings one by one.
My new "space" for the new year. I've tried several things over the years. A basket by the sofa, a stack of things in the kitchen table, an area at my desk in the old house, a prayer closet... Some have worked for awhile, some haven't. So for the new year it's a table next to a rocking chair I pulled from the attic. It holds my prayer journal, bible, color pencils, letters from our compassion child, books I'm reading or want to read, etc. We'll see how it goes!
