Having piglets

Get out of beds sleepy heads! Eenie Meenie is having her long awaited babies!! I told Gaitz a hundred times to leave her alone but he was bound and determined to help. Finally, I gave in and let him deliver the piglets.... He was in hog heaven! (Pun intended!)

Gaitz brought his dad a bowl of cereal.

We were having a little talk
about muscles and contractions!

Do over

Somedays things just don't go your way, patience grows short, tempers flare.... then you let go of your plans, grab a cup of coffee, read aloud and allow the bath water to clean up your mess. Starting fresh for the afternoon.... Here's to Friday night being better than Friday morning! #motherhood

Vet school

Today we checked the kids out of school early for an educational trip to my alma mater, Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. The bull we hauled over was examined on the tilt table. The oldest kid found it most interesting. The princess... not so much! Of course, I thought it was great fun seeing faces I haven't seen in years. #veterinarymedicine

Dancing in the rain

When God sends you rain... You dance! #thursdaynight #sisters #dancingintherain

Standing eggs

Papa took them to lunch for birthdays and then taught them to stand an egg on end.

Happy 7th year!

A birthday to remember. Manis and pedis at Sunday's Spa.

The girls giggled through the magazines. After several comments I realized these girls definitely have never seen Vogue Magazines before! 😳

Lunch

It drives me crazy to cook a hot meal and the kids don't eat only to ask for a snack in an hour! Guess what's for a snack today... Lunch! #motherhood

Chicken in the house

So he comes in our room telling a story... About half way through his narrative I realize he is carrying a chicken. Then he proceeded to put it on the bed so he could use his hands to demonstrate his words. #chickens #farmlife

Neighbors

Most people don't know we have neighbors through the trees but we do and we are so grateful! Especially on days like today when the kids are invited to scout out turkeys on the gator and I have a few minutes to read.... ALONE! Thanks neighbors for loving my kiddos! (Btw photographer Lewis Hines was an outstanding photographer that used his talent to bring attention to child labor in the early 1900's. Beautiful man, beautiful work, beautiful life that end in poverty but with a job well done) #photography #biography #storyoftheworld
