G: if Adam and Eve didn't eat the fruit would there have ever been sin?

Me: I feel sure someone would have eventually eaten the fruit. 

G: I bet it would've been Cain.

Me: would Cain have his personality if his parents hadn't eaten the fruit? 

...... Sounds like I need to hire a theology professor
