This big boy was found in a
nearby river close to where people kayak
and raft.... pretty scary.
Writing a paper on comparing and contrasting
alligators and crocodiles is more fun
when its a hands on project!

Afterwards he said it was the best paper he'd ever written. 👍
They decided to pull out the tape measure and see how big this alligator was compared to crocodiles found in the encyclopedia. I was able to gain a lesson on metric system verses the imperial system... They didn't even notice it was "school work". HA!
